Precious Odumosu read constantly as a kid. So much that her teachers gave her a nickname — “efiko,” the studious one. Then adulthood arrived, and reading was the first thing to go. Seven years without finishing a single book. It wasn't a choice. It just happens to almost everyone.
In 2020, she picked one up again. What came back wasn't just a habit — it was her voice, her clarity, a version of herself she'd almost forgotten. That return became a book. The book became a question: how many other people have a reader inside them, just waiting to come back?
Efiko is the answer. Not a book launch. A movement — for every studious one finding their way back to the page.
